May 2nd, 2011Brent Lundy is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, bass player, and radio host (WXRY UNSIGNED–99.3) from South Carolina. He is best known as the lead singer of the southeastern indie rock band Lundy, but began to gain public notice through several years fronting The Ultraviolets (1997-2005), touring extensively in the Southeast with Hootie and the Blowfish and Mercury recording artists Cravin’ Melon.
In creating their much-anticipated debut album, Lundy has worked with such greats as Kenny Aronoff, Phil Xenidis, Roger Manning, Chris Chaney and the legendary Steve Churchyard.
Lundy’s song Overflow is currently being featured in the new Billboard Award-nominated iPhone application, MixMeIn. The new album is expected to be released sometime in 2011.
